The Divorce Lawyer You Choose Can Make a World of Difference
For some people, getting divorced may feel like the end of the world. Imagine, however, going through the process only to find out that you are still married! At least two couples have come forward in New Jersey to say they were duped into thinking they were divorced by a woman who sold fake divorce judgments.
Anastasya Varvaryuk, 29, is not an attorney but she advertised that she handles divorce law and forged a judge’s signature on at least two divorce decrees, according to prosecutors. She worked out of an office called Empire Multi Services in Clifton.
Police believe there are quite possibly other couples who were defrauded by Varvaryuk.
