Johanny Grullon is an associate attorney licensed to practice law in New Jersey, with a strong foundation in litigation and a growing concentration in family law. Her interest in family law began early on, during her first internship in high school, where she worked with an attorney handling divorce and child support/custody matters. This formative experience sparked a lasting commitment to helping clients navigate complex and emotionally charged legal issues with care and professionalism.

Johanny earned her Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law in 2020. While in law school, she served on the board of the Latino Law Students Association and received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Bankruptcy, recognizing her strong legal writing and analytical skills.

A first-generation attorney and fluent Spanish speaker, Johanny is the daughter of immigrants from the Dominican Republic. Born and raised in North Jersey and now residing in Philadelphia, she brings empathy, integrity and cultural awareness to every client relationship.

After law school, Johanny completed two judicial clerkships that provided her with valuable insight into the legal system. She first served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ernest M. Caposela, A.J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County Vicinage, where she assisted with a variety of civil matters. She then joined the New Jersey Superior Court Clerk’s Office, where she worked on processing foreclosure pleadings and contributed to a special guardianship project, gaining hands-on experience with court procedures and deepening her understanding of both foreclosure law and guardianship matters.

Johanny went on to represent consumers at Kimmel & Silverman, P.C., one of the nation’s oldest and most experienced lemon law firms. There, she advocated for clients in consumer claims against major automobile manufacturers under New Jersey’s Lemon Law, honing her litigation skills, negotiation strategies, and client advocacy. Working directly with individuals facing frustrating and often stressful legal situations further strengthened her ability to guide clients through high stakes, emotionally charged circumstances, an essential skill she now brings to her practice in family law.

Johanny takes a compassionate, client-centered approach to her legal work, particularly in family law, where she is dedicated to supporting clients through life’s most difficult transitions.

Outside of work, Johanny enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.
